Relaxation & Reiki Experience

Relax, rest, and re-charge.

During this 2 hours, you will be guided into a deep state of relaxation with the use of Yin and restorative yoga, Guided Meditation, aromatherapy and Reiki (hands on energetic healing). Megan will create a peaceful, healing environment that will leave you with a clear mind and an experiential understanding of how relaxation supports your well-being.

***Space is LIMITED so that everyone may experience Reiki.

Join us for this unique Pilates experience with Rachel! The Silent Disco Inferno will take place outside the yoga studio on the turf. We'll sweat in the sun for this Sound Off experience - each participant will wear wireless headphones for this IHP class so that you can hear the music and the teacher, but nothing else. The playlist will be all disco, so come prepared for a fun and sweaty class (dancing is always welcome in IHP)!

Rain plan: in case of inclement weather, we'll move this experience inside the studio, but we hope to party outside and then hang out and chat with our community afterwards!

Immersive Sound Healing Experience

Immersive Sound Healing Experience

Join Reiki Master Alex Phillips at Hot Yoga Richmond for Song of the Sakura Dragon: a Sound Healing Celebration of Spring on Saturday, May 6th from 5:00 - 6:30pm!

Beginning with Raw Ceremonial Cacao with orange peel and cinnamon (Dragon's Breath) and Ceremonial-Grade Matcha with sweet sakura to drink (both handmade by Raven), Alex will lead you in a guided meditation before starting the Sound Bath - using tools including the human voice, Arabesque Chimes, Quartz and Tibetan Singing Bowls, Moon and Lava Gongs and so much more.

At the end of every winter, the Sakura Dragon emerges from the river to tend to her cherry blossom orchard.

Her song calls forth the rain to nourish her trees. The water travels down to the roots of her orchard, up into the trunks and through the branches, allowing the sakura flowers to blossom and bloom; signaling a time of renewal, good fortune and new beginnings.

After the rain, the Sakura Dragon's song calls in the sun as spring bursts forth from the darkness of winter - creating a rich celebration of the sakura blossom and heralding the time of Hanami (flower-watching). She wanders through the trees, coating them with the vibrations of her song and honoring the rain, the blossom, and the sun together in symbiosis.

A reminder of the brevity of life and ephemeral nature of the samurai, in two weeks the blossoms begin to fall. Sakura Dragon grows weary and, feeling the heat of impending summer, returns to the river to rest.

Come experience the multitude of benefits sound healing has to offer, and join us for Song of the Sakura Dragon!
